Well, the bathroom is looking very drab. Instead of piles of projects and hoards of records, our apartment is beginning to be filled with boxes. The storage closet is stuffed to the gills with finished containers, all nicely labeled.
We've sold many things, including the heavy steel craft desk for $100 to some petite girls...I do hope they managed okay on their end. A couple more things need to go, but I believe we're on the right track.
I am waiting to take down all the art. It is going to feel so sad in here without the knick-knack shelves, show posters and ethereal children's dresses on the walls.
We're heading down in one week for what I've dubbed the "scouting mission"! Unfortunately, I found the apartment of my dreams but it was already rented. It had Edwardian wooden detailing, including built in cabinets, and just gorgeous dark cherry floors. Too pretty. Ah well, we'll find something that suits us.
